Over the following decades, Quinnipiac College broadened its curriculum and relocated its main campus to Mount Carmel in Hamden. In 2000, reflecting the growth of its undergraduate and graduate offerings, the institution officially became Quinnipiac University. Since then, Quinnipiac University has expanded its programs in law, health sciences, and medicine, developed additional campuses in North Haven, and gained national recognition for the Quinnipiac University Poll.
