Refund Policy
At Unive AI, we're confident you'll find real value in how our AI admissions mentors help you craft winning essays, refine your strategy, and stay on track for your dream schools. But if our platform isn't the right fit or you aren't 100% satisfied, we offer a simple refund policy to give you peace of mind.
1. Definitions
1.1. Service Provider means UAB Unive, legal entity code 307177522, incorporated in the Republic of Lithuania.
1.2. Customer means the individual or legal entity purchasing access to Unive AI.
1.3. Services means all digital tools and content provided by the Service Provider, including the Unive AI platform, member area, and AI admissions mentors.
1.4. Subscription means a recurring payment plan granting time-limited access to the Services.
1.5. Trial means any time-limited introductory access (paid or free) offered by the Service Provider on special terms, as displayed at checkout.
2. Legal Framework and Nature of the Services
2.1. The Customer acknowledges that all Services are digital in nature and are considered delivered once access to the relevant digital content (for example, the member area or AI tools) is made available.
2.2. In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, as implemented in the Customer's country of residence, the Customer acknowledges that, where they expressly request or consent to immediate performance of digital content and it is made available, the statutory right of withdrawal may no longer apply to that digital content.
2.3. This Cancellations and Refund Policy operates as a voluntary commercial guarantee offered by the Service Provider in addition to any mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
2.4. As a digital admissions consulting tool, the Service Provider may ask Customers who request refunds for feedback to improve the Services. Providing feedback is voluntary and does not affect eligibility for a refund.
3. Scope and Eligibility for Refunds
3.1. This Policy applies only to Subscriptions purchased directly through www.unive.ai. Purchases made via third parties or separate agreements may be subject to different terms.
3.2. Subject to Clause 3.4, the Customer may receive a full refund of their Subscription fee if all of the following conditions are met:
- (a) The refund request is submitted within 7 days of the Subscription purchase date.
- (b) The Customer has used Unive AI's agents no more than 30 prompts in total.
- (c) The Customer's account has not completed more than 50% of the intended user journey or program (as reasonably determined by the Service Provider based on usage data).
- (d) The Subscription does not relate to any custom, human-led admissions consulting or coaching services.
- (e) The Customer is not, and is not acting on behalf of, a direct or indirect competitor in the admissions consulting or AI admissions sector. The Service Provider may decline a refund where it reasonably determines that the requester is affiliated with a competitor.
3.3. After the 7-day period in Clause 3.2, or once any of the thresholds in Clause 3.2(b)–(c) is exceeded, payments already made are non-refundable under this Policy, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
3.4. Exclusions – Human-Led Services. Any custom, human-led admissions consulting, coaching, or similar bespoke services are non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement or required by law.
4. Trials and Introductory Offers
4.1. From time to time, the Service Provider may offer a Trial. The Trial duration and any applicable fee will be clearly displayed on the checkout page at the time of purchase.
4.2. If the Customer cancels during the Trial Period, no recurring Subscription fee will be charged after the Trial ends.
4.3. If the Customer does not cancel during the Trial Period, the Trial will automatically convert into a paid Subscription at the recurring price shown at sign-up. By starting a Trial, the Customer authorizes the Service Provider to charge the applicable recurring fee and any taxes to the payment method used at checkout, until the Subscription is cancelled.
4.4. If the Customer cancels after the Trial Period has ended, amounts already charged for the current billing period are non-refundable under this Policy, but no further renewal charges will be made and access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, unless otherwise required by law.
5. How to Request a Refund
5.1. To request a refund under this Policy, the Customer may use either of the following methods within 7 days of purchase and subject to the eligibility criteria in Clause 3.2:
(a) In-App / Website Request.
Submit a request via the account dashboard by navigating to:
"Settings" → "My Account" → "Request Refund" and following the instructions provided.
(b) Email Request.
Send an email to support@unive.ai including:
- Full name;
- Email address associated with the Unive AI account;
- Order number or purchase details;
- A short explanation of why a refund is requested.
5.2. The Service Provider will review the refund request and notify the Customer of the outcome, typically within 1–2 business days. The Service Provider may request additional information if needed to verify eligibility.
6. Payment of Approved Refunds
6.1. If a refund is approved, the Service Provider will process it to the original payment method used for the purchase within 5–7 business days from the date of approval.
6.2. The time it takes for funds to appear in the Customer's account may vary depending on the bank or payment provider. The Service Provider is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.
6.3. Once a refund is processed, the associated Subscription may be cancelled and access to the Services reduced or revoked, unless continued access is required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise.
7. Cancellations Without Refund
7.1. The Customer may cancel their Subscription at any time, regardless of refund eligibility, by:
- Using the account settings on the Website/App (for example, via "Settings" → "My Account" → "Cancel Subscription" or an equivalent option), or
- Contacting Customer Support at support@unive.ai.
7.2. If the Customer cancels a Subscription for which the 7-day refund period has expired or the eligibility thresholds in Clause 3.2 have been exceeded, amounts already paid for the current billing period remain non-refundable, unless a refund is required by applicable law.
7.3. In most cases, when a Subscription is cancelled, the Customer will retain access to the Services until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further renewal charges will be made.
8. Additional Points
8.1. The Service Provider reserves the right to deny refunds where it reasonably determines that the Customer has breached this Policy or is misusing the refund process.
8.2. This Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will apply to purchases made after the updated version becomes effective.
