Google Sign-In and Google Calendar

Unive uses Google Sign-In to make it easier for you to create an account and access our app at app.unive.ai. We also offer an optional Google Calendar integration so tutors and students can schedule and manage sessions. This section explains how Unive accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.

What Google user data we collect

When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, including your name, email address, and profile picture. If you connect Google Calendar, we may access calendar information needed to check availability, create or update events related to your Unive sessions, and coordinate meetings between tutors and students.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide and improve Unive's user-facing features, including account authentication, account management, and calendar scheduling between tutors and students. We do not use Google user data for advertising, interest-based advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness decisions, lending purposes, or to train artificial intelligence models.

How we store and protect Google user data

Google user data is stored on secure servers used to operate Unive. We protect this information with industry-standard security procedures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring designed to protect the confidentiality of your data.

How we share, transfer, or disclose Google user data

We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or information resale. We may share Google user data only with service providers that help us operate Unive (such as secure hosting or infrastructure providers), and only under confidentiality obligations and solely to provide or improve Unive's functionality.

We retain Google user data only for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account, or comply with legal obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your personal information, including Google user data, by emailing support@unive.ai. You can also disconnect Google Sign-In or revoke Google Calendar access at any time through your Unive account settings or through your Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
