Meet the Expert behind Unive
I’m Jonas Kavaliauskas, Co-Founder and CEO of Unive. In 2016, I went through the U.S. college admissions process myself as an international student—largely without guidance—before being accepted to my top choice, Yale.
Since then, I’ve built an admissions consultancy and helped over 200 students get accepted to Ivy League schools, Oxbridge, and top-50 universities, building and refining what actually works through years of real admissions outcomes and collaboration with admissions officers.
Alongside this, I worked in venture capital investing in technology startups. In 2021, we began applying AI to admissions—and quickly saw that AI combined with expert human guidance delivers the strongest results. Today, Unive brings that model together to make world-class admissions support more effective, accessible, and scalable.
